SMS Review

An SMS Review is a requirement as per the SMS and SMSR Determination. SMS Reviews must be conducted annually and they create a snapshot of what your SMS looks like at the time of the review. The review generates a report which is recorded as documented evidence of an SMS Review. Another method of SMS review is interface meetings, where the process and outcome of reviewing the SMS is documented in the meeting minutes. The SMS must be reviewed annually. This review creates a snapshot of what your SMS looks like at the time of review. This is a critical element for SMS audits.
